• What are some policy options for the US? 
• What are the assumptions that drive these options? 
• What are the arguments for and against various options? 
• What are the roots of terrorism?

Role Play

Directions
• You are an adviser to the Secretary of State and  participating in a  round table discussion of US Policy options on Responding to Terrorism.
• You will be assigned one of the four options from the packet to present and defend as true believer in that option.
• Read all of the policy options in the packet. (see below)
  In class, you and your partners will make a short presentation ( several minutes) about the value of your option. The other three option groups will each ask one question of you about your option. Expect a challenge to your position.

• Even though you might not agree with the option that you been assigned, do your best to defend it.

         • Debrief
